e-days provides a web based self-service employee holiday and absence management system which enables users to book, log and access details of holidays, sickness, training and other planned or unplanned absences on any computer with an Internet connection.

For managers, it also a very powerful attendance management software tool to enable them to plan, track and manage absence in addition to identifying potential instances of absence abuse and proactively tackle absenteeism.

Enables staff to:


  • Make requests for holidays through the staff holiday planner
  • Keep track of their holiday entitlement, sickness and unplanned absence days
  • View the status of their holiday and other absence requests
  • Notify and record absence due to sickness
  • Carry-over unused holiday days at year-end (company policy permitting)
  • Receive holiday authorisations by email
  • Record overtime and time off in lieu (company policy permitting)

Enables managers to:


  • Have all the functionality of a user, plus the ability to:
  • Receive staff holiday and absence requests by email
  • Approve/decline requests or to pass them on to a director for final authorisation
  • View a summary of each user's holiday entitlement, the number of holidays taken and number of days remaining
  • Enter sickness days and other unplanned absences on behalf of employees
  • View a summary of the number of absences for each employee
  • Use the built in ‘Bradford Factor’ score to monitor staff attendance
  • View the company holiday calendars
  • View multiple international holiday calendars if their team has users in more than one country
  • Create reports on absence data
